Kostecki Architecture + Design, LLC has been fortunate to be involved in a number of building types, sizes and styles since our inception. Although not all projects were constructed, all were given the same care and dedication that we provide to every single one of our clients. We are excited to provide our services for any size projects, from a small residential addition or deck up to a large commercial structure. COTTLEVILLE CITY HALL AND POLICE FACILITY
We were fortunate in 2006 to be awarded the Cottleville City Hall and Police Facility project. A 2009 St. Louis Construction News and Real Estate Regional Excellence Award winner and a LEED Silver certified building, the City Hall provides 15,000 square feet of space for the ever growing city. As well, the building anchors the north side of the old town area of Cottleville and is a focal point for all citizens (and visitors) to enjoy together with adjacent Legacy Park.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CONCESSION STAND
The Knights of Columbus in Cottleville asked us to provide an economical concession stand building and covered sitting area overlooking the playing fields. The building houses a full kitchen/concession area, refrigerated section, storage area, shelving and a connection to the existing restrooms that were also upgraded in this project.
SACRED HEART CHURCH AND SCHOOL
One of several projects completed for Sacred Heart, the entry to the Sacred Heart Parish Hall was designed to provide an inviting entry, both interior and exterior, to this space. The top picture is the "before" picture and the bottom is the completed project.

COBBLESTONE CREEK ESTATES - PRIVATE RESIDENCE
We designed this residence from the site up: selecting a location, site and residential style we felt would form the perfect home for a future family. Every material, both inside and out, was selected by our team to provide a look and feel that are both inviting and comforting. From the solid maple doors, to the cherry floor, to the elegant light fixtures, to the cedar shutters and prairie style windows, every detail was selected with the utmost care.
KITCHEN
The kitchen was designed with connection to the family in mind with direct access to the eat-in area, portal to family room, and connection to the hallway. With solid maple cabinets, dark granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances, the master chef of the house is prepared to create anything from toasted cheese to a Thanksgiving buffet.
FAMILY ROOM
The Family Room has maple built-in shelving, trim, and fireplace surround, as well as a direct connection to the spacious deck overlooking the one acre backyard.
HALLWAY
The main corridor of the house is very wide and broken up to have a gallery feel, complete with cherry and tile flooring along with 1x6 maple-trimmed base, doors and upper banding.
TURNBERRY PLACE SUBDIVISION ENTRY SIGN
We were approached by one of the residents of the Turnberry Place subdivision to provide design and construction documents for flanking subdivision entry signs. We were more than pleased to accept the challenge and provided the subdivision with a design that was aesthetically pleasing and within budget.
GRAND SLAM STORAGE CENTER
We were approached by a developer to create a storage facility unlike most in that a theme was desired to make it stand out from a typical storage center. We suggested creating a look that mimicked the home of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and the current Busch Stadium couple with an appropriate name.
PRIVATE RESIDENCE GARAGE ADDITION (BEFORE)
This client was interested in creating a mother-in-law suite above an existing garage space.
PRIVATE RESIDENCE GARAGE ADDITION (AFTER)
The second floor addition includes a small kitchen, family room with fireplace, bedroom with walk-in closet, storage area and a connection to the existing second floor residence.

We provided Gene Slay's Boys Club schematic design for a large addition which included a basketball gymnasium, locker rooms, baseball grandstand and storage spaces.
